Refund Policy — Goat Music

Overview

Goat Music is operated by Puya Ventures LLC. Subscription payments are processed by our merchant of record, Creem. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

Free trials

If you start a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends and your subscription auto-converts to paid. You can cancel during the trial at any time via your account settings to avoid being charged.

7-day money-back guarantee (first-time subscribers)

If you are subscribing to a Goat Music paid plan for the first time, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. No questions asked.

To qualify:

  • You must request the refund within 7 days of the charge date.
  • The 7-day window applies only to your first paid subscription. It does not apply to renewals or to re-subscriptions after cancellation.

To request: email billing@goatmusic.me with your subscription email and the date of the charge. We'll process the refund through Creem within 5 business days.

Subscription renewals

Auto-renewals are not refundable after the renewal charge has been processed, unless required by law in your jurisdiction.

To avoid being charged for renewal, cancel your subscription via account settings before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

Annual subscriptions — pro-rated refunds

For annual plans cancelled mid-cycle, we do not provide pro-rated refunds for the remaining months. However:

  • If you cancel within the first 7 days of an annual subscription, the full money-back guarantee above applies.
  • If you cancel an annual plan due to extended Service unavailability (more than 7 consecutive days outage with no remedy), contact billing@goatmusic.me — we will evaluate pro-rated refunds case by case.

Failed transactions and incorrect charges

If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate, wrong amount, charged after cancellation), contact billing@goatmusic.me with the transaction ID. We will work with Creem to resolve within 5 business days.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer, we (via Creem) may suspend or terminate your account. Whenever possible, please contact us first at billing@goatmusic.me so we can resolve directly — most issues can be fixed without involving your card issuer.

Refunds from third-party platforms

If you subscribed to Goat Music through a third-party app store (e.g. App Store, Google Play), refund requests must go through that platform, not us. We have no ability to process refunds for purchases made through a third-party billing system.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law (including the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services, and similar rights under California, UK, and Australia consumer protection laws). Where statutory rights apply and are more favorable than this Policy, they prevail.
